Hello, everybody!
Unsurprisingly, September and October proved quite busy with the release of "Alternate Unrealities" and the launch of my first-ever crowdfunding campaign. In truth, things are still quite hectic but my attention has shifted somewhat with the biggest shopping season of the year fast approaching. Thus, here are a few items to keep in mind throughout November.
My Last Major eBook Sale of 2026
From November 1-30, the following eBooks are 50% or more off at a variety of stores including Amazon, Apple Books, Barnes & Noble, Bookshop.org, Google Play, and Kobo:
- The Nod/Wells Timelines - A Primer
- The Nod/Wells Timelines - Volume 1
- The Nod/Wells Timelines - Volume 2
This will likely be the final time the omnibus editions are discounted to such an extent, so be sure to grab them while you can before Volume 3 is released on January 5, 2027!
My Presence on Ko-fi has Expanded
As part of my effort to raise money to commission art for the 10th anniversary illustrated edition of "The Big Men," I've created a series of exclusive posts over on Ko-fi that cover topics like:
- My Favorite Social Media Platforms
- My Thoughts and Stance on "AI"
- My Thoughts on Spotify for Authors
- The Significance of The Nod/Wells Timelines - The Official Compendium
- Why I Rate and Review Other Authors' Works, and How I Go About That
No, I am not abandoning this blog, and will continue to use it for a variety of things. It just made a lot of sense to focus on enhancing my presence on Ko-fi while the crowdfunding effort is happening, and to use it for smaller, more focused posts that might be less of a good fit here.
My Audiobooks are Now Available via "Kindle+" and "Amazon Music Unlimited"
For those of you who aren't aware, Amazon recently rebranded its "Kindle Unlimited" subscription service for readers to "Kindle+." The biggest change beyond the name is that all audiobooks previously published using Amazon's "Virtual Voice" technology are now included in the service for subscribers in the US to listen to at no additional cost. Moreover, I have opted to include the traditionally-narrated audiobook I produced for "The Big Men" in the program, which means that all nine novel-length books set along The Nod/Wells Timelines are now part of Kindle+ in the US.
Similarly, "Amazon Music Unlimited" subscribers can now listen to all of those audiobooks as part of their subscription.
This is a fairly significant change as the audio edition of "The Big Men" was previously only available via Audible credits, but is also now more easily accessed as part of Audible's "all you can listen" content pool.
Admittedly, I would love for the audio editions to be even more widely and easily available to readers. Still, I consider these developments small but important steps in the right direction, especially compared with the more limited options that were present previously.
I think that's just about everything for now. Until next time, happy reading, everybody!
